So I've been debating this article with my friends:

My friends point out the condescension in this article.
I wanted them to address it more directly. One friend didn't even get it about being about the super ego and not ego.
I liked this:
"Conservatives' mental gymnastics for disrespecting the poor enable them to practice guilt-free ruthlessness while feeling morally superior, which is precisely the stance adopted by the superego."
Now to be fair he should have pointed out what he thought an over active super ego would result in an liberal. Would it lead to idealism? What?
