The New Yorker has a book review of some books about psychiatry and whether we've created depression. Of course this stuff is society created! Who didn't know that?
In the Times there's an article about the importance of small gestures.

200th post: unconscious, trauma and policy
I know there are things like Delicious and other public book markings, but I still like to post links here, in the absence of writing a lot of real content. My apologies, but here they are:
All from the New York Times:
Is There an Ecological Unconscious?
Here's a book review of a controversial book on trauma. I want to read this book.
I have a hard time finishing this kind of article, but apparently there's some new governmental policy about mental health.
Also there's a study about the benefits of psychodynamic psychotherapy.
And a player in the upcoming superbowl is in recovery.
