interesting post

I just read Stanton Peele's blog on Psychology Today. Intense. He exposes some of the hypocrisy at the Jackson funeral, which I missed, so it didn't generate any ire in me. He really zings Brook Shields and Jermaine Jackson. I wonder what it would be like for Brook Shields to read that and really let it sink in. He does provide a link so you can watch it. It's actually more moving than his zinger. Watching it, I don't think his zinger really hits at the heart of her funeral speech. I don't really think it's bad to be self referential because the relationship includes us too. I think she gave a slice of their relationship. I think she tried to capture the humor of their relationship and how she felt around him. I think she has some good quotes too.

I do share his anger that if you really love someone you should kick a drug habit.
